Run AVD Emulator without Android Studio
Open your terminal and
cd path_to/Android/Sdk/emulator
And run the following to get the emulator name that you created before using android studio
./emulator -list-avds
Replace $emulator_name with the one you want to launch and run
./emulator -avd $emulator_name
